Best costume EVER! When Davis attended our Sensory-Friendly Concert earlier this season, he decided that he wanted to be a conductor for #Halloween. We sent him the perfect accessory to complete his look––a Philadelphia Orchestra baton! Thanks to Davis's mom for sharing this photo. We look forward to seeing him on stage one day!

#HappyHalloween! 👻 @nyphilharmonic Associate Principal Oboe Sherry Sylar carved this Leonard Bernstein pumpkin 🎃 in honor of the #BernsteinAt100 Centennial celebration! In 1989, Sylar was selected to represent the New York Philharmonic in Bernstein's "Ode to Freedom" concert to celebrate of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The carving is based on a 1970 photo of Bernstein conducting the finale of Mahler's Symphony No. 2 with the @bostonsymphony at the @tanglewoodmusicfestival.
